The biography below is a history of the horizon core membership. This will be updated to Aion in due course.
Biography:
The Guild has been together as Players since the early days of wow’s release, We have been under different banners and some have played in very high end raiding guilds. Horizon as a name for the guild was formed by Cyciz just before TBC, Horizon then grew under Molac’s Guidance and has now enjoyed successful raiding covering all content.
The guild however maintains a friendly atmosphere but focused raiding enviroment, minimising pressure and making the game more enjoyable for all of our members whilst still reaching our goals in PvE.
In this respect the guild participates in numerous activities in parallel to raiding which include: PvP, 5 man Instances and socialising both in-game and in our Forums.
A plentiful rank of Officers are always available to help our guilders with in-game problems, guild issues/questions/ information, and are always working behind the scenes to maintain a friendly, active and fun environment for our players.
Objectives:
Horizon is primarily a raiding guild.
What this means is that all of our members are expected to participate in varying degrees to the guilds progression through end game content.
Our current objectives are:
- To progress through endgame content at a steady pace while maintaining fun atmosphere for our raiders;
- To encourage guild members to contribute to raids and the upkeep of other aspects of the guild aside from endgame, which include PvP,Heroics and 5 man runs;
- To develop friendships with each member because behind every Character there’s a real person;
- To remind others that this is still a game and as such should never cause arguments or disagreements and should always be fun;
- To progress through all this game has to offer in a disciplined and focused manner whilst having fun.
Code of Conduct:
The use of racist remarks, excessive CAPS, spamming and bullying are forbidden:
Guild members are also expected to be active and somewhat talkative. It is frowned upon to be antisocial and/or inactive and may endanger your membership if such behaviour persists.
Officers and class leaders must be obeyed at ALL times. Neither will tell you to do anything without good reason.
During raids the Raid leader MUST be obeyed at all times. Immediately and without question. Failure to do so may result in a wipe.
If a raid goes badly, and they will from time to time, do not lose your temper with others in the raid or guild. If you lose your temper it would be better to log out for a few minutes to avoid saying something you may regret. Keep in mind however that leaving a raid half way through will have a bad effect on your raiding reputation within the guild.. .whether you did it for a reason or not.
Guild members are expected to maintain the same level of respect they show to their fellow guilders when dealing with other players
When a Player is removed from the guild his/her DKP history is immediately reset to zero and he/she is removed from the listings.
- Players that are kicked from the guild for any reason will not be welcome back.
- Players that leave without any notice or explanation will not be welcome back.
- Players that leave on good terms may have a chance at returning all be it slim.
In any case your DKP record and rank will be erased and you will start back at zero.
